Parenting support offers parents and caregivers a space to slow down and look more closely at difficult everyday situations, understand their child or adolescent’s behaviour, and reflect on their own ways of responding. We do not offer ready-made solutions. Instead, we work together to develop approaches that make sense within each family’s circumstances, values, and relationships.
Our work is informed by relational, cultural-historical, systemic, and attachment-based perspectives, along with principles of Positive Discipline. We consider the child’s development, history, and relationships, as well as the family, school, social, and cultural contexts in which they live.
Parenting support sessions are designed specifically for parents and caregivers. During our conversations, we look at specific situations from daily life and seek to understand what may be behind certain behaviours. Together, we explore ways to set boundaries, strengthen communication, navigate conflicts, and foster more respectful relationships within the family.
